Revelation chapter 5

John weeps because no one is found worthy to open the scroll that is held by Father God.

Rev 5:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."

Rev 5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

It is Unveiled that Yeshuah Jesus is the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, and the Lamb that has been slain.

It is Unveiled that He alone is worthy to open the seven seals of the scroll.

It is Unveiled that Yeshuah Jesus has seven horns and seven eyes (seven Spirits of God).

Horns are a symbol of power, and eyes are the symbol of wisdom, these eyes are the seven Spirits of God.

Isa 11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

Isa 11:2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Isa 11:3 His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

Seven-fold Spirit of God;

1. The Spirit of God (Holy Spirit)

2. The Spirit of Wisdom

3. The Spirit of Understanding

4. The Spirit of Counsel

5. The Spirit of Might

6. The Spirit of Knowledge

7. The Spirit of the Fear of the LORD

The number seven is the number of completeness and perfection, meaning Yeshuah is complete and perfect in wisdom and power.

Slain in Eternity

Eternity: Duration or continuance, without beginning or end, without time.

Time: A particular portion or part of duration, whether past, present or future.

Eternity has no past and has no future. There is not even, “now”, for “now” is the present of time and there is no time in eternity. Eternity is outside of time, and that is where Elohim dwells.

Isa 57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (NKJV)

God told Moses when he asked, “Whom shall I say sent me?” Listen to Gods response to Moses.

Exo 3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'" (NKJV)

Exo 3:14 and "Elohiym Powers" said to "Mosheh Plucked out", I will exist which I will exist, and he said, in this way you will say to the sons of "Yisra'el He turns El aside", "Ehyeh I Exist" |had| sent me to you, (AHRC-RMT)

To exist is to have real being; is to have breath. Many people perceive eternity as a long time. Like the song goes, “Ten thousand years, we’ve only just begun.” Sounds nice, but it’s not accurate. Time began in Genesis and will end in Revelation. When we die our soul moves from time to eternity, either to eternal Heaven or eternal hell. My soul, your soul is eternal; even as we live right now our soul is eternal. It exists forever, even after the body dies.

Ecc 1:9 The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done, is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun. (NKJV)

Anything that has been done has already been done in Gods eyes. God lives in eternity, outside of the space-time continuum. Elohim looks in to time and sees it all at once. That is how He can reveal prophecy to man. Imagine you are at a parade. You’re standing on a corner and the parade is coming. You see the beginning, then later the middle, and then the end, all in sequence. Just like our lives have a beginning, middle and an end. But, let’s say you are in a blimp hovering above the parade, you could see the beginning, the middle and the end simultaneously. Just has Elohim sees the world and our lifespan all at once. He is outside of time just as the blimp is outside the realm of the parade.

Let’s take a look at Rev 13:8, John 19:30 and Rev 5:6.

Rev 13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (NKJV)

John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (NKJV)

Rev 5:6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. (NKJV)

Revelation 13:8 says the Lamb, Yeshuah Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world. Then in John 19:30 says Yeshuah died on earth, it was around 33 A.D. Still yet, in Revelation 5:6 it reads, “Stood a Lamb as though it had just been slain.” So He was slain before the earth was created, He was slain on the earth in 33 A.D. and He is slain in Heaven in the future. How? You may ask and I have asked. Let’s see if we can figure this out.

We have already seen that Elohim God inhabits eternity. Now Yeshuah Jesus says in Revelation 1:8,

Rev 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." (NKJV)

Yeshuah Jesus is the Beginning of all things and the End of all things.

He is also the hâwâh, which means, to exist, that has breath, that is.

He is the bô', which means, that was, to go or come, and abides.

He is the hâyâh, which means, to exist, that is, to be or come to pass.

So Yeshuah exists, and did exist and will exist. I think we understand that Yeshuah Jesus has always existed, but how could He be slain before the earth was created and yet be slain at 33 A.D. and also the future.

As we have learned, time does not exist in eternity, so there is no past, present or future. In eternity all that exist, exists in the infinity.

Paul says in Ephesians;

Eph 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

Eph 1:5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, (NKJV)

Before Elohim created the universe He saw the beginning and the end of His creation and everything in between. He saw you, me, and us and chose us and predestined us to be His very own. And knowing the only way that was going to happen, He was going to have to die.

When Elohim created the heavens and the earth, the space-time continuum came into being. When this happened Elohim was able to see from that point of creation all the way down to the end when time ceases to exist, which means, He saw Adam and Eve believe the evil serpent and turn from Him. He saw that He sent a flood to wipe out the evil ones of the world and save only eight. He saw King Saul disobey and He had David take the throne. And He saw me, and how much of a screw up I am and the only way for me to make it to eternal heaven was for His only Son Yeshuah Jesus to enter time and die on the cross for me. He saw you and you and you and the only way for you to make it was through the death of Yeshuah.

So, Elohim saw that He sent Yeshuah Jesus in to time, in to this world to suffer and die, shedding His blood to wash all sin away from those who would accept it.

Now, in the book of Revelation when John saw the Lamb, Yeshuah in Heaven looking as though He had been slain, that’s because He has just been slain. Remember Yeshuah was beaten and scourged and crucified for us, for all our sins, past, present and future. So, when we accept Yeshuah Jesus as our Lord and Saviour our past sins are forgiven, right? After we are saved and when we sin, those sins are forgiven as well, right? Yeshuah inhabits eternity, we inhabit time. Every sin that we commit, He already saw us do. As we sin, are we adding to the suffering of Yeshuah Jesus?

This is not set in stone, but something to think about. Every time we sin we could be adding another lash of the whip, another blow of the rod, or another thorn in His brow.

Yeshuah Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world because He saw it happen in times future. Then it was fulfilled in the space-time of 33 A.D. And, it is still happening in eternity because of our present and future sins we commit.

If, this is accurate His suffering will end when all of time is fulfilled. When all evil, all sin and death is thrown in to the lake of fire and all those that has accepted Yeshuah Jesus gift of salvation is joined with Him in Heaven. Then what we will see is His beauty, His love and . . . His scars.
