Psalm 23

Psalm 23:1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 23:2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

Psalm 23:3He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

Psalm 23:4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 23:5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Psalm 23:6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

 

God's Seven-fold Completeness for our Lives

Jehovah-jireh; the LORD will provide (Genesis 22) Gen 22:8And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering." So the two of them went together.

Jehovah-rapha; the LORD that heals (Exodus 15) Exo 15:26 and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."

Jehovah-shalom; the LORD our Peace (Judges 6). Judges 6:24So Gideon built an altar there to the LORD, and called it The-LORD-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

Jehovah-Tsidkenu; the LORD our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23) Jeremiah 23:5 "Behold, the days are coming," says the LORD, "That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

Jeremiah 23:6In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Jehovah-Shammah; the LORD ever present (Ezekiel 48) Eze 48:35 "All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD Is THERE."

Jehovah-Nissi; the LORD our Banner (Exodus 17) Exo 17:15 And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner;

Jehovah-Raah; the LORD our Shepherd (Psalm 23) Psalm 23:1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.


 

Psalm 23:1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The LORD is (Jehovah-Raah, the LORD our Shepherd); Jehovah-jireh (the LORD will provide).

Psalm 23:2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

Jehovah-shalom is (the LORD our Peace).

Psalm 23:3He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

Jehovah-shalom is (the LORD our Peace). Jehovah-Tsidkenu is (the LORD our Righteousness).

Psalm 23:4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Jehovah-Shammah is (the LORD ever present). Jehovah-Nissi is (the LORD our Banner).

Psalm 23:5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Jehovah-rapha is (the LORD that heals).

Psalm 23:6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Goodness and Mercy encompasses ALL seven.
